Anthony Dalzell loves his every-day role managing the shops. ";Many of our customers have been coming here for years and have become friends,"; he says. ";And I’ve seen their families grow up too. It’s a personal thing I really enjoy. And making sure their weekly shopping basket is filled with nothing but the best, of course.";

David Pearson holds the Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate with Trainers Endorsement, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Health. David also holds the BICS Kitchen Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate with Assessor Endorsement as well as being a BICS Training and Education Committee Member. He has played a lead role in many national initiatives affecting the fresh food industry. ";I’m immensely proud of what Haighs has achieved over the last 25 years, particularly our membership of both Q Guild and the National Association of Catering Butchers. Our customers, whether large or small, only see a tiny part of our operation. Haighs is an asset to West Cumbria. There’s an untold story.";
